              Raul Ovalle

              Born and raised in Brentwood, N.Y., Raul is the coaching director of Valley Soccer Academy. As a player, his achievements included being an All-American in high school, as well as an All-CAA selection out of Old Dominion University. His professional career has lasted over seven years with ranges from playing PDL, Div III, A-League, as well as playing in Europe for Debreceni in the Hungarian First Division.
              Holds a National B License

              David Brooks

              David was a standout defender during his senior year at Leesburg High School in Georgia.  He went on to start for the University of Charleston for two years. He is currently working on his PhD. in Physical Therapy. His commitment to the game of soccer has allowed him to begin his coaching career at an early age.

              He holds a D license in WV. David is currently a standout youth development coach for West Virginia United soccer club.


              Aleksandar Filipovic

              Alex was born and raised in Jagodina, Serbia.  He left his native country to attend Preston High school in West Virginia his senior year.  He continued his playing career at West Virginia Wesleyan College where he played for 4 years on scholarship.  He received his B.S in economics and business management. He is one of our more intense trainers with a business at all times attitude.  Alex has been with the academy for over a year having coached and trained players from the age of 4-18. 

              Alex hopes to continue his coaching career in efforts to one day become a respectable college coach.


              Cornelius Adamah

              Cornelius was born and raised in Hagerstown Maryland, where he attended Bowie High School.  His parents are from Ghana. He moved on to play at Potomac State College where he captained the team to a NJCAA division I semi-final as well as attaining honors such as the Division I all-star team and leading the team in scoring during the 2000-01 season.  He then continued his playing career at WVU where he played for one year. 

              He has been with Valley Soccer academy for one year and is one of our youngest and most committed trainers. Cornelius hopes to continue his coaching career in efforts to become a highly respectable youth developmental coach in the region.


              Kate McArthur

              Kate graduated from Elkins High School in Elkins, WV, where she was born and raised. As a player, her achievements include being a starter for 4 years, as well as All-Conference; 1 year All-state. She served 2 years as team captain, and won State Runner-up in 2004. She played 2 years WV ODP. She coached the Elkins u-14 girls for 3 seasons, winning the Chevy Cup for 2006. She has also coached 2 summer soccer camps at D&E.

              She is currently studying Physical Education at Davis & Elkins College, where she has started for 4 years and was 2005 Rookie of the Year. She also has acheived All-Conference Honors in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
